A successful Advanced Vertical Skills day held at Sutherland Girl Guide hall. A change of location from our usual rockface site due to a Total Fire Ban and Extreme Fire rating.
Trainees had the chance to practice different types of anchors and rigging as well as setting up some basic hauling systems with minimal equipment. There was even some lively discussions on loading and breaking strains of various types of descending devices.
